now lets start our work .
here we find the square of any number .
let us take 106.
step
1: find the base of the number. base is a number whose square is very
simple and is nearer to the given number. here base is 100
step 2: add the difference of the base and given number to the number that is (106+6). we get 112.
step
3: now square the difference and this result is the last two digits of
the square of the given number. here 6 square gives 36. thus result is
11236.
bring out your calculator and check the answer .
let us take one more number 98? ok.
since it is lesser than the base 100 so substract the difference that is 2
so we get 96.
now square the difference to get the last two digits that is 2 square = 4
thus we get 9604. pity simple? isn't it.
now let us take a complicated one that is 121.
add the difference to get 142.
now
square 21 give 441. but we were talking about last "two" digits so just
add the first digit to last digit of the result and get the ans .
like 142---- 441 so add 4 to 2 and we get 14641 and this is the ans . hope you understand .
